Internet of Business - Assisting the CISO and cyber security teams in addressing opportunity, risk and defence.
SBRC Conference – Wednesday, 23 October - Oracle, Blackness Road, Springfield, Linlithgow EH49 7LR
The ever-changing dynamic of cyber-related matters shifts daily, with new threats emerging from the most obscure of sources. Who is supporting the Chief Information Security Officer, the Chief Technical Officer and security teams as they endeavour to repel the increasing array of attacks from sophisticated cyber criminals or just plain old malware proliferation with unintended consequences?
I have invited a collective to deliver stimulating presentations, based on their accumulated experience and extensive knowledge, to a select audience drawn from the Scottish cyber family who will be able to share their learnings in a relaxed environment. In addition, and most importantly, the programme encourages attendee networking with like-minded souls who constantly face similar challenges in defence in depth in their respective roles.
I hope you can join us to learn, participate and contribute in order to continue to make Scotland safer in cyber and innovative in development.
• David Febrache – National Cyber Resilience Leaders Board and Global Head of Cyber Futures at KPMG
• Professor Bill Buchanan – The Cyber Academy, Napier University
• Don Smith – SecureWorks
• Ciara Mitchell – Scotland IS
• Ellen Wong, Us Consul
• The role of the CISO – What’s your plan when it happens?
Please RSVP expeditiously as spaces are limited. There is a £25 per person attendance fee for non-members of the SBRC.
We hope you can join us and look forward very much to your input.
